OKAY, here are a few pictures of our yard. HA HA, I talked Don into renting a thatcher. So on Saturday, we thatched our yard, he wanted to run the mower and pick up all the dead stuff, but we convinced him that, the dead stuff will be a good natural fertilizer for the yard. OOOOOHHH, he cant stand his yard looking like this!!!!! It is so funny!!!

Thank goodness, it is supposed to rain for the next several days. (so he cant get out there and mow too soon) I sure hope this works. Or I might never be able to do this again.

This picture has a bird nest in the top of it. Have to look hard but, it is there along with the new leaves that are coming into bloom, on our maple tree.

Just got the picture from Lance. He is the one waving. Can't tell if he is hard at work or just playing around. This line of work is so much up his alley, he has always loved the adventures in life and seems to live life to the fullest. He enjoyes working in Southern Ca. and his wife Amanda is finishing teaching this year and will be moving down to be closer to him.

Well, I was able to watch my grandson,

DYLAN, last week. It was so much fun.

There was a small breeze, and he was chasing the balloon, all over the front yard.. It was so funny.

Then he found Grandmas gloves, and was showing off, in front of the wood shed.

Finally, I felt good enough to go for my walk

today. It was a beautiful morning. And yes, I pushed myself to walk the whole two miles.

Just an update on my last post.... my visit to the doctor went as planned.....

I saw the nurse practitioner, she took my vitals 3 to be exact, my blood pressure, my oxygen levels, and my temperature. The doctor came in and listened to my lungs and confirmed my situation. I recieved a sheet of prescriptions 3 to be exact, and of course the sample of another prescription, total of 4 now. This took a total of 15 minutes, and now at check-out the cashier wants $87.40!!!! IN FULL, NOW TO THE PHARMACY.
My 3 prescriptions came to $66.30, Steroids, Antibiotics and anti-inflamation stuff.

And yes, we do have insurance, supposedly pretty good insurance to boot!!!

By the way, I am feeling better, but my HUSBAND, is home sick today.

Go figure.

We went for a car ride yesterday, down through the chain lakes to see the spring wildlife.

This time of year, most of the birds are pairing up and preparing for their nesting together.

We saw Blue Herrons, many kinds of ducks and this is a picture of an Opsrey Nest,

they love the tops of the power poles!!!! In the first picture, you can see one bird in the nest and the other one coming in to land.

Okay, I am giving in and visiting my Doctor Today..... I am looking forward to the ever famous

I have been snorting, coughing, sneezing, snoring, sleeping and napping for a total of about 14+ hours a day, I forgot to mention how grouchy I have been too!!!!!! Does that count all of the dwarfs in Sleeping Beauty? To bad I dont look or feel like any sleeping beauty, more like the

evil step-sister in Cinderella,

Yup that could sum up me.

There will be no pictures today, as I am to embarrassed to take one, my eyes are popping out, my nose is red, my cheeks are rosy, and my ears are throbbing, there is a twitch in my eyebrow and my lips are dry and cracked. okay TMI!!!!

I am finally gettin' better, thanks to the many naps I have been taking. And the ever famous

NYQUIL , THERAFLU, AND ANY THING ELSE I COULD GET MY HANDS ON!!!!!

Oh, and not to mention the many boxes of kleenix I went through. Maybe a walk tommorow.

Well I have finally finished another project.... Our PORCH SWING...

the weather and elements have killed the material. So when Mom was here in October, we went to JoAnn Fabrics and bougmaterial. I had taken an old sheet and made my initial pattern, and when Don got home I showed him my new project. He said it was okay.

THATS IT ????

He thought I had spent all that time covering it with a sheet,,, GEEZ, even I know better than that. I spent days making the covers with the real material . Don was very excited with the end results . He had to help me put it all together. And we are very happy with the results.
