My Arizona Trip 2012

My time spent in Arizona was so special. Thanks to all involved. And a Special Thanks, to my VACATION PLANNER... MOM. I will share quickly some of the highlights..

We rode the light rail from Tempe to downtown Phoenix, and watched the SUNS win their basketball game against the Timberwolves. The seats we had for the game were great!!

And the first couple of days were spent, designing & decorating, Moms front room.

And, then my sister Carrie & her husband Doug, took Mom & I sailing on Tempe Town Lake. It was a beautiful day.

We had a Womens Lunch, a total of 9 of us all family, at Claim Jumpers.

Next a quick photo of the Yard Sale.. saturday am.

Then a FUN LUNCH, with the core group.

And then, I was able to see Alan & Shannon, in their Mesa High School Play, "Beauty & The Beast". It was quite the production.

And then Sunday afternoon lunch at The Selins, and then Sunday night Game Night at the DeWitts.

I ENJOYED THE VISIT...THANKS & LOVE TO ALL

The February Whirlwind!!!

SuperBowl Preperations.... I went healthy.... RAINBOW FRUIT SKEWERS.
I got the idea from PINTEREST>... ENJOYING IT ALOT!!!!

I bought some of the fruit days before, to start to ripen some of the items. Morning Of,

I put it all together. It was refreshing...

OH, VALENTINES DAY, at the FLOWER SHOP, was a

HUGE WHIRLWIND!!!!

I had been warned, and they were right. It was amazing!! This pic is only 1/2 of the deliveries for the BIG DAY!! It was a record year for the owner. But, I think by the time she paid all of us from the designers to the deliverers, total of 9, who knows?

Anyway, this is a picture of "TEAM", the girl on the right, was a temp. for about 3 weeks.

The owner is in the lower front. Janice, of J B'S Country Garden & Gift.

We all have matching shirts, thanks Janice!! And then on Saturday the 25, we are all participating in a fundraiser on top of 'SILVER MOUNTAIN" (the local ski hill).

Called "TUBING-IN-TUTUS". We willl not be wearing tutus. But are creating some sort

of wristlets made of tule. I will keep you posted.

Oh, just to wear this once :o)

This picture was found.... it will be from last year around Mothers Day. Things were very busy, and I was put into the "DESIGNER MODE". I had someone take a picture. Still enjoy working there. Except.. the day I had to deliver FUNERAL FLOWERS, NO BIG DEAL. Until I was minding my own business, bringing in the first arrangement ordered................... and yes, it was an OPEN CASKET SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! I lost it.. and am not ready to deliver there again. I really enjoy working with women who are all Christian Girls.

Our Christmas... was wonderful. What time together we spend... I treasure more & more.

Reno trip

Don had a business trip, to RENO, for a mining convention. So, he was able to have a company pay for our trip down there. There was also a Idaho Foot ball game going on down there,

so we were able to go with some friends.

On the first leg of our trip, we were on the Vandal Express.

This last picture is on right out of the town DUSTIN LIVES IN!!!! The elk are on the move.

Not alot of snow yet... not sure what they are doing?

Ugly NEIGHBORS???

Last month our neighbor hit a pole on our canvas garage, and denied it to the cops. Last week he took his bobcat and plowed a large pile of snow on our property. So after talking to the "SHERIFF", we have taken action and will NO longer allow him to drive over our property. It could get ugly before it gets over!!!

Our Clearwater Trip 2011

Another wonderful 11 day camping vacation, has come to an end. We found this river last year, thinking we could float and fish, some areas not accessable any other way. Well, I can tell you the fishing on this river was some of the best. BUT, here is one of the OBSTACLES, that we had to address. As you can tell, I am GLADLY, WAITING, on shore, downstream. The men are "walking the raft" unmanned. Can you see the size of some of those ROCKS?
We were able to see 10+ eagles, this time of year the salmon are spawning so, they are an easy target for the eagles.

This is my favorite river to fish.
I am much more comfortable, standing here on ground fishing.

Campin', Fishin' and Growin' CANTELOPE

Fishin' last weekend, sure needed to get away. We were able to leave town, and head up the river. Not many big fish, but a few small were fun to catch.

Don also had a good time.

Our garden has been planted for quite a while now.

The potatoes on far left are doing great, then on the

far right we have the radishes and tomatoes, also growing fine.

The two bigger plants which we think are CANTELOPE in the left-center just were transplanted from the corn area. It seems that last year, I had tossed some seeds and rhinds, so now we have ended up with" 3 CANTELOPE PLANTS"

We have transplanted 2, so we will keep you posted
